Energy Bars Recipe

  1. Prepare a Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, chopped nuts, and dry fruits. It can be a combination of cashews, almonds, raisins, dates etc
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: Microwave nut butter and honey in a separate bowl for 20-30 seconds until soft and stir-fry-able, then mix until smooth and consistent.
  3. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Mix warm nut butter and honey with oats, nuts, and dry fruits in a bowl, stirring until evenly coated. Optional ingredients like chocolate chips or seeds can be added.
  4. Press into a Pan:Line a baking pan with parchment paper or foil, leaving overhang for easy removal. Transfer mixture, press down, and ensure even distribution and compacting.
  5. Chill and Cut: Refrigerate the mixture for 2 hours, then remove the bars from the pan, cut them into desired bars, and place them on a cutting board. Garnish with more dry fruits as required.

You can individually wrap the dry fruit bars in plastic wrap or store them in an airtight container. These homemade energy bars are customizable, and you can adjust the ingredients to suit your taste and dietary preferences.
